Define the comparison before ranking performance
Select the wells, hole section, run, and depth interval that answer the operational question. Apply a depth shift when stratigraphic alignment requires it, then review the same eligible drilling states across the active well and offsets.

- Compare wells, sections, runs, and parameter combinations.

Use offsets as evidence, not a prescription
Matched offset intervals can inform WOB, top-drive RPM, and other operating choices, but similar inputs do not guarantee the same response. Formation, BHA, bit condition, hydraulics, and dysfunction state remain part of the interpretation.
